I am just an amateur historian (with an interest in geography)... came across your site and thought to make some suggestions that might help in broadening coverage. You might like to consider:

Mark, I very much appreciate your input...and what do you mean "just" an amateur historian? Me too. It's my fondest desire that all of my students would like you become amateur historians.

Glad to be of help--the "just" just means that I am truly an amateur, not professional., although many years ago I was a research assistant on (several Canadian historical documents).

By the way, if you ever want to consult a comprehensive site for Canadian history:

Online Resources for Canadian Heritage
http://www.civilization.ca/orch/www00_e.html

And a useful Geography site:

Canadian Council for Geographic Education
http://www.ccge.org/splash/splash.htm

And this UK site also has considerable History content:

HUMBUL Humanities Hub
http://www.humbul.ac.uk/

Also, a couple of other useful geography sites:

BBC Country Profiles
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/country_profiles/html/default.stm

Economist Country Briefings
